WhatsApp first, everything else second.
If a feature can't be triggered by forwarding a message, it's not a feature — it's a settings page nobody will open.
Kiira exists because 996,000 Malaysian micro-businesses keep their books in a shoebox, a WhatsApp chat, or — if you're lucky — a crumpled notebook behind the counter. Every accounting app on the market was built for someone else.
The first version of Kiira was a weekend project — a WhatsApp bot that could read a Petronas receipt and file it under Fuel. A friend who runs a kedai runcit used it for a month and refused to give it back.
That's when we realised the problem wasn't missing features. The problem was that every existing tool assumed the user wanted to open a laptop, learn double-entry, and read a chart of accounts. Most Malaysian micros don't. They want to forward a photo and get on with their day.
So we built the whole thing around that. No dashboards to learn. No onboarding deck. If you can send a WhatsApp, you can do your books. MyInvois and the rest of the LHDN machinery sits quietly in the back, ready when you grow into it.
These are the decisions we've already made, so we don't re-litigate them every Monday.
If a feature can't be triggered by forwarding a message, it's not a feature — it's a settings page nobody will open.
If an amount is unclear, Kiira asks. It doesn't guess, round, or assume. A wrong number in your books is worse than no number.
The AI handles bookkeeping. SST, LHDN, and anything that could get you audited lands in your accountant's queue. Every time.
Every MyInvois submission needs a human tap. We'll never have a bad week that ends with 400 wrongly-filed invoices.
Kiira is made by AYO Solution ApS — a small software company registered in Denmark, building for Malaysia. We're not a seed-funded rocket ship. We're operators who write the code, answer the WhatsApps, and read every bug report.
A handful of senior engineers with a decade in fintech, SaaS, and payments. We've shipped software that handles real money in five countries.
Working with practising Malaysian accountants and SMEs who use Kiira every day. Every MyInvois decision is run past someone who files for real clients.
When you message support, a person who can actually fix the thing reads it. No ticket numbers, no macros, no phone tree.
No trial that silently upgrades. No 'free forever' with a three-invoice cap in the fine print. The free tier is the free tier.
Your books are yours. We don't train external models on them, syndicate them to data brokers, or cross-border your records without written consent.
Export everything — CSV, SQL Account, MyInvois XML. If you leave, you leave with your data. No hostage-taking.
Kiira is a tool. For tax advice, you want a human with a licence. We'll route the question; we won't answer it.
Early access is open. Reply to anything we send and it lands in a real person's inbox — usually mine.
